Dingle Bay
Dingle is a very colourful little village on Dingle Bay.We spent the morning wandering around this gorgeous little village,
Busking seems to be popular in Ireland as a means to earn a few euro. This man leant against the building in the sun, and sang loudly and tunefully for quite some time. His songs had a familiar, mournful note that many Irish ballads have. Ireland has many seasons in history that are very tragic and the Irish song writers love to pen tragic ballads so their history is never forgotten.

Dingle is the perfect place to find a great selection of gumboots
This goat was hanging outside a shop. I thought it was cute but don't know what they were selling.
Upon leaving Dingle we drove across Connor's Pass. The scenery was magnificentWe came to this hill which had lots of people climbing over it. The sign said it all. Perhaps they were Star Wars fans and this was their pilrimage to a holy hill..
When we stopped at a shop, Allan was chatting to a local lady who told him about another beautiful drive which was windy and narrow but worth the slower trip, which would bring us back to our original road leading back to Aghadoe. What a brilliant drive. It was narrow and windy and steep but just wonderful! We are finding the local knowledge really helpful in finding beautiful treasures through Ireland.
Allan found one more treasure at dinner tonight. When he ordered a profiterole the waitress said she was envious. When she brought it out she said, 'Now you know why I am enviousIt was huge! And we did share it but it was big enough for the four of us to share. The perfect end to another great day.Two last photos of the lakes from our bedroom window in the beautiful light just before sunset.
